Cycle/cycling insurance review

We’ve ploughed through policies and squinted at small print to compare cycle and cycling cover for ourselves, so we thought we’d share the information in an insurance review. There’s info for you to compare specialist cycle and cyclist policies for everyday, holiday, commuter, leisure, triathlon and other competitive riding, for theft, damage, personal accident and liability. NB for UK residents.

As an overseas visitor , I found cycling the Cheshire Cycleway dangerous , at least the area through Mobberley , Too many speeding cars and Trucks . Never again . They certainly dont give much leeway to cyclists in Britain

Sorry to hear that – this is probably the worst place on the route as the road is busy. Cycling defensively is the best, especially here. Cycling out of the gutter, so you are visible and not overtakeable, and building in a few wobbles as you hear vehicles approaching fast, both help. BTW, where are you from?
