Take a look at our websites to see the elements we have expertise in - not just creating the sites themselves, but also the finishing touches to make it easy for search engines to find the site and users to navigate around it. Plus mapping, adverts, supporting blogs and so on.

I can also incorporate website protection using Spam blocker (I won an innovation award for this). I developed this free piece of code for anyone to use who has the expertise (see my tutorial on our Cheshire Cycleway website).

Photography

Photography by Alec has been published on websites, in e-zines, and magazines, newspapers and books in the UK and abroad, over the past 20 years. Additionally, an exhibition of his prints toured Cheshire.

Subjects include:

Plants and products; gardens, gardeners and gardening; garden centres, nurseries and flower shows (e.g. RHS Chelsea, Hampton Court, Tatton); gardening as a hobby and for business, in the UK and abroad.

Outdoor leisure (cycling, walking, camping) in the UK and abroad.

Landscapes of the UK and abroad.

Writing

Over the years we've been commissioned by publishers of gardening, outdoor leisure and other magazine titles to write numerous articles, and around 900 have been published, often as photo-and-word packages. Additionally we have written a book (Guide to the Cheshire Cycleway - now updated online) and have written publicity material for various companies.
